MOREE businesses have again opened their collective hearts and generously donated more than 50 raffle prizes worth thousands of dollars to be drawn at Moree Public School’s Supporting the Now, Paving the Future Long Lunch at Moree racecourse on Saturday.
School P&C Association president Casey O’Hara is overwhelmed by the response.
“We have had a tremendous amount of support from Moree businesses and community members with raffle donations, and we are extremely thankful and appreciative of this,” Mrs O’Hara said.
“We are still receiving items and the quality and quantity of prizes is amazing.”
And while the raffle will be drawn at Saturday’s long lunch, tickets can be purchased online by using the QR code below or going to Buy Long Lunch Raffle Tickets Here.
“People do not have to attend the event to win, and can simply jump online using the link or QR code and purchase their tickets,” Mrs O’Hara said.
Cash sale tickets are also available at the Moree Public School office during school hours or by contacting long lunch sub-committee members.
Mrs O’Hara said funds raised at Saturday’s event will support vital school resources and facilities, and programs used to enrich the educational experiences of students.
“These pave the way for students to succeed and thrive, and reach their full protentional,” Mrs O’Hara said.
Former Moree Public School student, bush poet and comedian Murray Hartin, is guest speaker and former teacher Mark Burgess will undertake emcee duties throughout the afternoon.
