A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the Taminda industrial area of Tamworth early Monday morning.
At about 2am on March 10, emergency services were called to Barnes Street, Taminda, about five kilometres west of Tamworth, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District attended and found a Ford sedan had crashed into a power pole.
An 18-year-old occupant died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
The driver – a 25-year-old man – was treated for a serious leg injury and taken to Tamworth Hospital for mandatory testing.
Two passengers – an 18-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman – were treated at the scene by New South Wales Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Tamworth Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash commenced.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.

In a separate incident, an investigation is underway after a body was located near a crashed motorbike near Forster early Monday.
At about 6am om March 10 emergency services were called to Blackbutt Road, Failford, following reports a body had been located.
At the scene, police located a motorbike which had left the roadway and crashed into a power pole. The body of a 20-year-old man was located nearby.
Officers attached to Manning/Great Lakes Police District established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the incident.
