MOREE Christian School will this month conduct Kindergarten and Year 7 information sessions for the 2026 school year.
Parents and carers are invited to attend the sessions and learn about Moree Christian School enrolments for next year.
An information session about 2026 Kindergarten enrolments will be held on May 14 at 3.15pm, with hands-on activities, a tour of the school and afternoon tea.
The following Wednesday, May 21, parents and carers preparing children for high school next year, can attend an information session with a school tour at 6pm.
Moree Christian School principal, Noel Kramer, said the May 14 Kindergarten information session will provide an overview of school life in the Kindy classroom.
“We are now accepting enrolments for Kindergarten and Year 7 in 2026, and we encourage parents and carers with children ready to start Kindergarten or Year 7 next year to attend our information sessions,” Mrs Kramer said.
“At the Kindergarten Information Session, parents will be presented with strategies about how to prepare their children for starting school and Kindergarten teacher, Mrs Tarsha McLane, will explain the Kindy day-to-day routines.
“Kindergarten is a fun place to learn and grow and our 2026 Kindy friends are invited to come and have a play with some different activities in the Kindy room during this information session,” she said.
Information about Kindergarten transition that takes place later in the year will also be explained. “Students at Moree Christian School Primary school undertake a set of subjects with specialist teachers, including Music, STEM and Literature Appreciation in library lessons,” Mrs Kramer said.
“In these information sessions, parents will have the opportunity to have a look around the school and see the facilities, hear about our soon-to-commence building project to provide extra classes for our growing student numbers, and ask questions they may have about the school and their children,” Mrs Kramer said.

Moree Christian School provides a caring, close environment for students to learn and grow.
“We encourage all students’ families to be part of our big family,” Mrs Kramer smiled.
“These Information sessions allow families to meet one another and some of our staff. With our recent approval to provide senior studies, Moree Christian School provides a unique opportunity for students to have one school the whole way through,” she said.
“At the heart of Moree Christian School is the desire to see students loved and nurtured as valuable people, all with individual gifts and abilities that God has given them.
“Our school teachers have the joy and privilege to partner with parents in the education and discovering of these abilities.
“We aim to equip students with wisdom for life, from the first moments they start school until the last day they are with us, knowing that they are created in the image of God for a purpose.”
Mrs Kramer said teachers and staff endeavour to model this truth through living out their own Christian life in an authentic and practical way.
“Students enjoy a whole school community, participating in assemblies, celebration of learning days and carnivals,” she said.
“We have a biannual play, and students from Year 4 to Year 12 can audition for this. We also hold Write a Book in a Day events for both Upper Primary and High School Students.
“Students can audition for the Primary or High School band. As part of our desire to provide opportunities for students to be outward-looking community members, we have a Primary and High School service day each semester, where students participate in different activities in our community, including partnering with organisations like the Salvo’s Store, Ephraim House and Anglicare, running programs with a local preschool or visiting Whiddon,” Mrs Kramer said.
“In primary, students are given an access to Chromebooks, where they have lessons in typing, word processing and digital research and creation, in Year 7 students purchase a Chromebook to use throughout their schooling.
“We endeavour to provide academic excellence alongside a caring community, where students can not only grow but flourish throughout their schooling journey,” she said.
