Free legal aid seniors diary back for 2026

Nov 29, 2025

THE long-awaited Legal Aid Seniors Diary will return for 2026 and is jam-packed full of useful tips and legal information.

Member for Northern Tablelands, Brendan Moylan, is encouraging seniors across the region to secure their copy when they are released next Monday, 1 December.

The popular publication is full of information on a variety of issues commonly faced by seniors including avoiding scams, goods and services, driving and fines, Elder abuse, money and Centrelink, and much more.

Mr Moylan said it is a very useful source of information for seniors across the Northern Tablelands and they are available from his Armidale, Moree and Inverell electorate offices.

“The Seniors Diary is a practical resource which presents legal issues in a more understandable and easy-to-read way,” Mr Moylan said.

Member for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan is encouraging seniors from across the region to pick up a copy of the 2025 LegalAid Seniors Diary.

“It provides information on how to avoid potentially costly scams, how to set up Wills, where to go to seek help and where to access advice if seniors are experiencing discrimination or abuse.

“The Legal Aid Seniors Diary is highly anticipated every year and I encourage seniors across the Northern Tablelands to get in touch with our Armidale, Moree or Inverell office to obtain a copy,” he said.

The 2026 Seniors Diary features cover artwork by Aboriginal artist Shelby-Rae Lyons. The story behind the artwork is central to our Elders, our old people who hold knowledge of our culture and family history.

The diaries also feature a calendar and have important dates marked out.

They are free but there is a limit to two per household.
