THE NRL HOGS national tour, presented by Westpac and led by Brad Fittler, will leave Penrith today, with the crew travelling to regional New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria to champion and promote rugby league in heartland towns.
The tour will be in Moree tomorrow, Monday, February 9, at Boughton Oval between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, and will also visit Moree PCYC and Westpac Bank Service Centre on Balo Street on Tuesday morning.
Joining Fittler on the opening leg of the tour are Greg Inglis, Yasmin Meakes and Olivia Higgins, with Dale Finucane and Jada Taylor set to join the second leg of the tour.
Together, they aim to strengthen connections with local kids and families, giving young people the chance to play, learn and engage with rugby league.
With Club Rugby League registrations open, HOGS will create an opportunity for young kids to test their skills, build confidence and make connections with local clubs, while promoting the importance of sport to stay active and build friendships.

Moree Giants Junior Rugby League Club president Steve Cory said the HOGS Footy Clinic tomorrow aims to encourage participation in the game while promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork and confidence.
“The clinic is free to everyone – there is no cost at all – but people have to jump on a link and register their attendance,” Cory said.
Participants can register for the clinic at Play Rugby League Register for Moree HOGS Visit.
“This is open to anyone who wants to come along, and it’s a great thing for our club and the kids of Moree,” Cory said.
“The afternoon will start at 4.30pm and run for about an hour.
“There will be a barbecue afterwards and we’d love to see the community get behind the clinic and come down to Boughton Oval and support the kids.
“It’s going to be a great couple of days for Moree,” he said.
