NARRABRI is gearing up for one of its most anticipated events of the year, with NarraBRIGHT set to light up the town on Friday, March 14.

Locals and visitors can expect a dazzling evening of art, music, performances and stunning light displays, all coming together to celebrate the creativity and community spirit of the town.

Narrabri Shire mayor Darrell Tiemens said Narrabri was ready for a huge influx of visitors.

“We’re extremely excited – thousands from across the region are expected to attend this hallmark event and we can’t wait for Narrabri to put on a show,” Cr Tiemens said.

For the past two weeks, Narrabri Shire has played host to the CREATE Festival, showcasing local artists and inviting the community to explore their creative side through a range of inspiring workshops.

While NarraBRIGHT serves as the festival’s grand finale, it is also a spectacular night that brings people together to celebrate community, creativity and connection.

Festival-goers can look forward to stunning visual installations, live acts from talented local musicians and some surprise performances at 6pm and 7.30pm.

With interactive light displays and immersive experiences, NarraBRIGHT invites everyone to not just observe, but to take part in the creative magic.

NarraBRIGHT is an annual street festival of light, music, art and food.

Launched in 2021, the much-loved and colourful spectacle has become a highly anticipated all-of-community event and attracting a large number of regional visitors.

NarraBRIGHT is a free community event and is a feature of Council’s annual CREATE festival, held in March.

The 2025 event will include light projection, live music, late night shopping, street food stalls, performers, kids’ activity zones, art workshops and much more.
