The Christmas Twilight Races are back at Moree Race Club on Saturday, December 19, for one of the biggest days on Moree’s social calendar.
The annual twilight meeting is one of the Race Club’s feature events and a major end-of-year gathering for the town. Thousands of racegoers have turned out in previous years, with the 2025 meeting attracting around 3,500 people.
It’s an afternoon and evening where the racing and the social side go hand-in-hand. Groups of friends, families, work crews and visitors pack the racecourse for a day at the track before settling into the end-of-year celebrations.
Whether you’re there for the horses, catching up with friends or just soaking up the atmosphere, the Christmas Twilight Races have become a Moree Christmas tradition and a fitting way to round out the year.
