Garage Sale Trail 2026 — Australia’s biggest festival of secondhand items — runs over two weekends, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November and Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026. After 16 years, this is the final national Garage Sale Trail.
Households, schools, community groups and local businesses across Moree Plains Shire can take part in two ways:
Host a sale — registration is free, and sellers receive tips, promotional materials and more to help make their sale a success.
Shop the Trail — an interactive national map at garagesaletrail.com.au/sales lets bargain hunters plot their trail across Moree, Mungindi, Ashley, Boggabilla, Boomi, Biniguy, Pallamallawa, Garah and Gurley.
Moree Plains Shire Council is encouraging residents to take advantage of the opportunity by decluttering their homes and giving unwanted household items, clothing and toys a second life by reselling them.
