The Contingency Plan

About this event
The Contingency Plan will be back on stage at Moree Golf Club on Saturday, November 21, for a night of live music from one of Moree’s best-known local bands.
If you’ve spent much time around Moree’s live music scene, chances are you’ve already crossed paths with The Contingency Plan. They’re regulars at pubs, clubs, community celebrations and big local nights, and they’ve built a strong following by doing what a good live band should do: getting people out of their seats and keeping the night moving.
The band has been part of some of Moree’s biggest community events, including Light’n Up Moree, where they featured among the live music line-up for the town’s spring street festival. They’ve also travelled beyond Moree, including a performance at Bingara’s Christmas Carnival where they kept the crowd entertained into the night.
More recently, The Contingency Plan took the stage at Moree Rugby Club following the Bulls’ home clash with Narrabri in July, continuing a busy run of local performances.
Moree Golf Club is familiar territory for the band too, making November 21 a chance to catch them in a relaxed local setting with plenty of room to settle in for the evening, catch up with friends and enjoy live music without having to leave town.
For anyone who keeps saying Moree needs more live entertainment, this is exactly the sort of night worth supporting.
Grab a few mates, head to the Golf Club and make a night of it.
