🚧 IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ROAD CLOSURES 🚧 The Carnarvon Highway between Garah and Mungindi is still closed to all traffic.
There is still water over the road and there is extensive pavement damage making this section of the road unsafe.
Please refer to www.myroadinfo.com.au and www.livetraffic.com for the latest road closure information. Regarding a possible date when it may re-open, Council hopes to carry out emergency repairs next week on behalf of Transport NSW. Please also note that the Carnarvon Highway is a state owned road and if you wish to seek special permission to travel this section of the Carnarvon Highway please contact Transport NSW Transport Management Centre on 131700.
