MANAGING farms in Queensland to owning and managing a major carpet and flooring franchise in New South Wales – Andrew and Monique Krause have turned full circle since taking over Andersens Carpet Moree.

Andrew and Monique purchased the established Moree franchise last year – it’s been trading locally for more than 25 years – with plans to expand in 2025.

Already, they’ve added floor rugs to their stock and floor-covering stock and services, which includes carpets, vinyl flooring, a wide and stylish range of blinds, awnings and shutters, and plank flooring.

Andrew managed farms in central and western Queensland in a previous life, and Monique worked in tourism and event management across the sunshine state.

They’ve moved back over the border and now have retail outlets in Moree and Inverell, where Andrew was born and raised on the family farm.

Andrew is based in Moree, where he runs Andersens Carpet with store manager, Jodie McLaren, and Monique manages the family-owned Inverell Furniture Court in the sapphire city.

“Customer service is very important to us, and we will do anything to make sure our clients are satisfied and happy with their purchases,” Andrew said.
