A man and a woman will face court, charged with drug-related and theft offences in the Gunnedah region.
In July, detectives attached to Oxley Police District and the Crime Prevention Team commenced investigations under Strike Force Yarloop to investigate property and rural thefts in the Gunnedah and surrounding areas.
Aa about 8.10am yesterday, December 4, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Schwager Street, Gunnedah.
During the search, police allegedly located and seized property believed to be stolen including power tools, electronic equipment, an imitation firearm, counterfeit money, cannabis and a crystal substance.
A 44-year-old woman was arrested at the address and taken to Gunnedah Police Station where she was charged with 40 counts of drug-related offences.
These included supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supply prohibited drug and supply cannabis, as well as participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and dishonestly obtain property by deception.
She was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 5 today.
A 41-year-old man was also arrested at the scene and taken to Gunnedah Police Station where he was charged with possess prohibited drug, two counts of larceny, break-and-enter house etc steal, and goods in personal custody suspected being stolen.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Gunnedah Local Court on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
