MOREE Plains Shire Council will present Community Showcase, One Stage, One Community, a celebration of connection, creativity and community spirit of local talent at the Moree War Memorial Hall at 11am on Sunday, June 14.
The free community event brings together singers, musicians, dancers and performers of all ages, shining a spotlight on the creativity and spirit of the Moree Plains.
Set to entertain the audience are Fluide Dance, Moree Academy of Dance, Moree Christian School, Moree and District Band, Moree Caledonian Pipes and Drums with Highland Dancers, students from Rach Louise, the Mitchell Family, Deeni Mitchell, Hugo Lillyman and SHAE Academy Dancers.
Council event manager Rachel Cubis said the free event is more than just entertainment.
“This is about creating a space where entertainers feel seen, supported and inspired,” Rachel said.

Moree Caledonian Pipes and Drums with Highland Dancers will join Fluide Dance, Moree Academy of Dance, Moree Christian School, Moree and District Band, students from Rach Louise, the Mitchell Family, Deeni Mitchell, Hugo Lillyman and SHAE Academy Dancers at Moree War Memorial Hall on Sunday, June 14 for a free community event.
“It is about building and instilling confidence in our youth, our future generations.
“We have such amazing talent right here on the Plains and we hope to see as many people as possible attend this free community event,” she said.
