A woman has died in a motorcycle crash at Warialda yesterday afternoon.
At about 4.50pm on Friday, emergency services were called to the Warialda Road, Warialda, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to New England Police District attended and found a motorcycle had left the road and crashed.
The rider – a woman believed to be aged in her 40s – died at the scene.
She is yet to be formally identified.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
The fatality follows the death of a man – believed to be in his 70s – in a single vehicle accident on the Elcombe Road, about 60kms south-west of Warialda, late Thursday night.
