TICKETS for the free New South Wales Seniors’ Christmas Concerts in Moree are now available, with seniors urged to snap them up and enjoy the festive fun.
The concerts star singing sensations Amy Lehpamer from the musical & Juliet, Arlo Sims, Liz Player and Emily Kate, from The Voice, and Will Skarpona from the Conservatorium of Music.
There will be two free shows at the Moree Services Club on Wednesday, December 18 at 10am and 1pm.
Featuring all the festive favourites, the regional concerts are an annual highlight of the Christmas season and a chance for seniors to socialise and enjoy a spectacular show.
Tickets will be available from 11am today.
Call the Moree Service Club on 6752 1566 or drop in to collect them from the team at the front desk.
Free tickets are available until the allocation is exhausted.
Moree is one of three regional centres to host the Seniors Christmas Concerts this year with other shows taking place in Broken Hill and Cessnock.
Each year, the concerts visit three regional towns to bring the festive cheer to seniors in the regions.
Performer Will Skarpona said he is looking forward to bringing the spirit of Christmas to seniors living in regional New South Wales.
“The NSW Seniors Christmas Concerts are guaranteed to delight audiences so make sure you book your tickets now,” Mr Skarpona said.
Minister for Seniors Jodie Harrison said the concerts are a great way to enjoy the season, socialise and have a festive singalong with some of the state’s top performers.
“Tickets are sure to go quickly so be certain to get your seats as soon as possible to experience this spectacular show in regional New South Wales,” Ms Harrison said.
Labor spokesperson for Northern Tablelands Peter Primrose said this year’s line-up of talent was first-class.
“Gathering together with friends and family enjoying music is such a joyous way to celebrate the festive season. I encourage everyone to get together, make a day of it and enjoy the show,” Mr Primrose said.
“This year’s line-up is full of talent and is sure to entertain.”
