Eary bird tickets available for Glen Innes Celtic Festival

EARLY bird tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Australian Celtic Festival, giving festival-goers the

chance to secure discounted weekend passes to the vibrant celebration of Celtic heritage at Glen Innes.

The festival will be held May 1-4 at the Australian Standing Stones National Celtic Monument.

This year’s Festival will celebrate the Celtic nations of Brittany, Cornwall and Wales, alongside the rich traditions of Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man.

Attendees can look forward to a diverse program of live performances, competitions and immersive cultural experiences.

Entry to the festival includes an exciting line-up of new and returning events and attractions including live music and dance performances across three stages.

Highland games and strongman competitions, Celtic back-hold wrestling, jousting, re-enactment villages, a Celtic fashion parade and much more will feature.

New to the festival this year is the Celtic Cauldron, a marquee hosting a variety of events all weekend.

The 2025 Australian Celtic Festival gets underway at Glen Innes from May 1-4.

The vibrant space will feature instrumental workshops and demonstrations, choral and vocal workshops, language classes, impromptu music sessions, food talks, a poets’ breakfast and other engaging activities celebrating Celtic culture.

Festival-goers can explore the Boar and Drum bar, sample offerings from gin, mead, and whiskey traders, and browse a variety of food trucks and market stalls.

Families can also enjoy the Celtic kids marquee, featuring activities inspired by Arthurian legends and Celtic mythology.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the festival.

Free shuttle buses will run between the Visitor Information Centre, Glen Innes Showgrounds, and the festival site for weekend ticket-holders.

The early bird release offers a chance to secure limited weekend tickets at 20 per cent off the general admission price.

Tickets are now available for purchase at www.australiancelticfestival.com until sold out.

Those who miss out will have another opportunity when general admission passes go on sale from Monday, March 3.

Additional ticketed events, including the Céad Míle Fáilte! 100,000 Welcomes Concert at the Glen Innes District Services Club and the ACF Eisteddfod at the Glen Innes Town Hall, will be available for purchase from Monday, March 3 when general admission passes go on sale.

The full festival program, including performer line-ups, maps, and fringe event details, will be released on Monday, March 3 as well.
