THE Moree Riders Club is excited to announce the commencement of a double-header series in 2025, with the first series scheduled to spring from the starting pads on Monday, March 31.
Club president Steele Sutton said the move to Monday nights works in with other sports, and he hopes similar numbers to last year again meet at the Moree Bike Park for two series of action-packed fun.
Series 1 will run from March 31 to June 16, with Series 2 dates to be soon finalised for the second half of 2025.
“We averaged 50 riders at each of our events last year, and I’m confident we can get the same numbers this year,” Sutton said.
New riders can obtain a free license that will cover the opening two events before Easter school holidays start.
“If they enjoy the sport, they can obtain a yearly license with Auscycling,” Sutton said.
“Riders who participated last year will need to obtain a yearly membership and Active Kids vouchers can be used.
“The yearly license will cover riders for both series this year – a total of 16 weeks,” he said.
Sutton said the committee is happy to support with registration on the night, but prior registration is encouraged through the following links.

Moree Riders Club members are preparing to launch the 2025 double-header season on Monday, March 31.
Riders who have used four-week free membership can register here Race All Discipline Membership
and free four-week membership for newcomers is available at Become a Member Free Trial.
“The events will provide time to ride with friends, fun challenges, age-based racing and division racing,” Sutton said.
“The division racing place riders will those of similar ability rather than age. This will encourage riders of all ages and ability to have fun and challenge themselves.”
Parents can contact the club at the Moree Riders Facebook Page for any assistance or email club president Steele Sutton at [email protected].
All riders need full-face helmets and long pants and long-sleeve top.
“Gloves are ideal as well and everyone should bring along a water bottle. We also have some helmets we can loan out,” Sutton said.
Riders aged under 18 must have adult supervision and all riders need a current Auscycling license.
