Significant dust is being generated as green waste is mulched at the Moree Waste Facility. The work is under way and will run for 7–10 days from Thursday 15 October.
Moree Plains Shire Council said residents who experience severe asthma or breathing difficulties should avoid the site during this period. Those affected who need to visit are advised to wear a suitable P2 or P3 face mask. The council has apologised for any inconvenience.
