Fatal motorcycle crash near Texas, Queensland

The Queensland Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash south of Texas yesterday, Thursday, January 30.

At approximately 9:45am, emergency services were called to Riverton Road at Watsons Crossing, about 35 kilometres south of Texas, following reports a motorbike had crashed.

The rider of the motorbike, a 59-year-old from Glen Aplin, near Stanthorpe, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the incident and is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
