Anzac Day
Anzac Day is a very important date on our calendar. It is a day where the community gathers to show their respect and pay tribute to our servicemen and women who made huge sacrifices for our country. I look forward to joining the Guyra community next Friday for their Anzac Day service.
Hunter New England Health submissions deadline extended
The deadline for submissions into the inquiry Health Services Amendment (Splitting of the Hunter New England Health District) Bill 2025 has been extended to May 8, 2025.
The proposed Bill aims to dissolve the current Hunter New England Local Health District to establish two new districts – Hunter Local Health District and the New England Northwest Local Health District.
It is very important the community is heard on this crucial issue.
You can make your submission to the Legislative Assembly Committee on Community Services before submissions close on 8 May.
