A Tamworth man has been jolted wide awake by the eye-popping revelation he won $15 million in last night’s Oz Lotto draw.

The New South Wales player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Oz Lotto, with each division one winning entry pocketed $15 million.

The stunned winner joked he might have a heart attack given the enormity of the prize, which is due to be paid on Christmas Eve.

His winning marked 18-game entry was purchased at Northgate News at Northgate Shopping Centre in Tamworth.

The winner was oblivious to his good fortune until an official from The Lott made contact last night.

“You know how long I’ve been waiting for a call like this? A very long time,” he laughed.

“I was wondering who was ringing me so late. I’m about ready to have a heart attack.

“Thank you so much. I’m going to have a cry now.

“It’s been a tough few years but I want to buy myself a house and take it easy and be comfortable. You don’t know what this means to me.

“I can’t believe only two of us in Australia had these numbers – and I get paid on Christmas Eve. Show me the money!”

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1660 on Tuesday 9 December 2025 were 21, 15, 3, 6, 9, 33 and 19, while the supplementary numbers were 31, 14 and 7.

Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Oz Lotto draw 1660 in New South Wales and Western Australia.
