Road works are scheduled across the Moree Plains this week, with grading, flood-recovery repairs and pothole works included in the latest maintenance program.
Moree Plains Shire Council’s road maintenance schedule for Monday, August 17 lists Telleraga, Rimbanda and Talmoi roads for maintenance grading. Rosedale is also included in the grading program.
Carrigan Road and Foxes Lane are scheduled for flood-recovery road repairs, while rehabilitation works are listed for Boonangar Road under the Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund.
Boonangar Road is also listed for pothole repairs, along with Morialta Road and streets in Mungindi. The program includes additional pothole repairs on various shire and rural roads as required.
In Moree, pothole repairs are scheduled for various town streets. Guidepost and scheduled sign replacements are also listed across parts of the rural road network.
Separate works listed under the TfNSW road network include asset inspections on the Carnarvon Highway, Gwydir Highway and Newell Highway bypass, along with rest area servicing on the Gwydir Highway.
The schedule is subject to change and depends on weather conditions.
